Adult’s Residential Manager – Wednesbury

Salary: £25,390 – £29,500 per annum dependent upon skills and qualifications

Locations: Wednesbury

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Managerto join and lead the team to deliver personalised support in one of our ‘Good’ CQC rated 6 bedded residential services for young adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD and associated behavioural challenges. The home is part of a growing range of flexible services provided by Progress Care Solutions aimed at Children and young people with a varying degree of disability. You will ensure that appropriate oversite and scrutiny is in place with the support of your Senior Team to ensure that high quality care is provided, maximising individual potential and providing positive experiences to the people accessing the service that exceeds the essential standards of quality and safety in accordance with the Care Quality Commission guidance and regulations.

To be considered for this post you will have the knowledge and understanding to ensure compliance within our registration as well as helping our young adults to achieve their goals; working collaboratively with departments, managers and key stakeholders across the organisation, to clear strategic plans to deliver flexible and creative support to individuals which help them progress and develop in their lives.

As Registered Manager you will be required to instil and practice the core values of the organisation and ensure that they are purposefully represented in day to day practice and the culture. The role may require some evening, weekend and Bank holiday working and there is the expectation that the post holder will be part of an on-call team on a rota basis.

You must be an experienced and competent people manager who can work well on their own initiative, have good budgetary management and business management skills and you must hold the QCF level 5 Leadership and Management and NVQ 4 in Care or equivalent (Social work qualifications or nursing qualifications would also be accepted) and have competent IT skills and access to your own transport.
