Salary: £17,191 – £18,021 pro rata

Progress Care Solutions is an established independent provider of a range of services for vulnerable children and young adults.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Driver. You will be driving children and young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD and associated behavioural challenges in one of our residential services for. Adults and Children accommodated in our home may also present with Mental Health, Self Harming and sexualised behaviours, who are socially and emotionally delayed through neglect and harm.
To be considered for this post you should have a least two years’ experience of driving; in a similar role, as a private driver or equivalent. You will be expected to provide support for transporting children and young adults to and from educational locations and/or activities; as such you should have a full driving licence.
You will also be responsible for the up-keep and basic maintenance of the vehicle such as, but not limited to, tyre checks, screen wash, oil levels and cleanliness of the vehicle inside and out.
You will be caring, compassionate, have a fantastic work ethic and be able to work on your own initiative, whilst having an understanding of the support and care plans for the people we support.
You must be also either currently hold or be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS record check.
This role will require the post holder to work split shifts, typically mornings from 7.00 to 10.30 and afternoons 14.00 to 17.30, approximately 6 hours per day in term time. There may be an opportunity for further work in the evenings, weekends, school and bank holidays on an ad hoc basis.
