Support Worker (ST20)

Salary: £16,285 – £17,389

Locations: Stafford – ST20 area

Hours of Work: Part-time

Closing date: 31st March 2020

The Support Worker role is a ‘foot in the door’ to support work and is a unique approach to our recruitment strategy. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to receive training within a various number of settings. If you’re an experienced care worker this role is also applicable for you and can offer progression to a number of other positions within the organisation. 

The support worker role is great to do alongside college, university or even another job as the packages will be suited to your availability.

  • Community-based and flexible working arrangements
  • Weekend, bank holiday working & unsociable working hours (guaranteed hours)
  • Care and support for adults and young adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviours
  • Activity sessions within the community
  • Must be willing to study or work towards QCF Level 3 Health & Social Care
  • Working from care plans
  • Empowering and enabling service users to improve skillset
  • Working closely supervised

Additional role requirements:

  • Roles subject to a satisfactory DBS check
  • Working in setting endorsed by professionals and customers
  • Dress code: Flexible/ appropriate for the activities you are doing
