Support Worker Children’s (HL007)

Salary: £17,194 – £19,720 per annum

Progress Care Solutions is an established independent provider of a range of services for vulnerable children and young adults and an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Residential Support Worker in our recently refurbished children’s residential facility in Coventry.

Our residential service offers placements to children and young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD and associated behavioural challenges. Children accommodated at the home may also present with Mental Health, Self-Harming and sexualised behaviours, children who are socially and emotionally delayed through neglect and harm. The home is part of a growing range of flexible services provided by Progress Care Solutions aimed at Children and young people with a varying degree of disability.

Do you have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in a residential setting? Do you have experience of caring for young people with learning disabilities or EBD? Do you have your NVQ/QCF level 3 or equivalent in children’s or adult’s health and social care? If you answer yes to any of these questions then Progress may be just what you’re looking for!!

We will be holding a recruitment day on Monday 27th January 2020 where you will have the opportunity to meet staff who have progressed throughout the organisation and talk to senior managers about what the company has to offer. We will carry out a presentation about Progress Care and carry out interviews throughout the day!

To be considered for this post you will be expected to support the management team to maintain a safe and enabling environment that provides positive experiences to our young people accessing the service. Your role will be to encourage them to develop new skills and to be the best that they can be, whilst also providing the highest quality of care and support to our children and young people.

This role will require the post holder to work unsociable hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rolling rota basis.
