Statement of purpose

Henley House provides a throughput service for children and young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties, ASD and associated challenges. Registered with both Ofsted and CQC the home enables children and young people with complex needs a seamless transition into adulthood. With its attached 18-25 service and community support enabling smooth transitions into community living.

  • Bedrooms are based on the ground floor and fully accessible
  • Set in a lovely residential area near Henley College and University Hospital

Registered Manager Paul Gouldingay has worked in the care industry for 10 years with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties for 8 of these. As part of his work he has been part of setting up a multi-agency group to deal with young people that are at risk of CSE and that continually go missing from care that were deemed high risk. Paul has a Level 5 NVQ in health and social care in Management, a diploma in autism awareness and a Level 4 child psychology diploma.
