Progress Celebrates Random Acts of Kindness Day

Progress is joining the global celebration of Random Acts of Kindness Day on Tuesday 17th February 2026, encouraging team members, foster carers, partners, and the people it supports to embrace small acts of kindness that can make a big difference.

Random Acts of Kindness Day is a reminder that even simple gestures – a few thoughtful words, a helping hand, or a note of appreciation – can positively impact someone’s day and strengthen connections across teams and communities.

To mark the occasion, Progress is inviting everyone across the organisation to participate by:

• Sending a thank-you or shout-out to a colleague

• Offering help or support to someone

• Making someone a drink or leaving a kind note

• Sharing a positive message via internal channels

No act is too small. Even a few kind words or gestures can brighten someone’s day and create a ripple effect of positivity across the organisation. We’re excited to see our teams spreading kindness on 17th February.”
