Residential homes reimagined

At Progress we provide residential services for children and young adults from age 5 upwards, who are affected by all types of disability. Whatever the reason or length of their stay, our goal is to make sure everybody has a positive experience and leaves with their life improved in some way.

We start with a dedicated plan designed to develop life skills and help them become the best they can be. This could mean teaching self-management to help them to return to the family home, working intensely to reduce the barriers to living in a foster home, or preparing them for independent living.

“The outdoor space has been designed to provide seating for all, with very pleasant planting and landscaped areas.”

We also believe in the importance of the simple things, like providing home-cooked foods,
promoting a healthy lifestyle and encouraging participation in daily life.

The purpose of our residential homes is to make young people feel safe, comfortable and
valued. Just as they would in any normal family home.

We’ve developed this specialism over many years and are extremely proud of our high staff
retention rates and ability to deliver stable and consistent care and support to the young people who need us.
