‘My vision and mission was to create spaces with greenery, foliage, soft furnishing, creative seating areas, and tea / coffee stations very much influenced by the coffee shops culture. ’
A space where our stressed staff could take time out and breathe.
As the design unfolded, we created our office space moving away from the traditional ‘offices and desk concept’ The design theme is based around plants and foilage. Creating an aesthetically pleasing environment with calming colour palette on the walls, all the furniture has been designed to create spaces where staff can enjoy one to one time or work as teams. All spaces are accessible to staff no one has an allocated desk space, it is about sharing and mixing together of different teams and working towards agreed agendas and strategy.
The office provides open plan seating areas, bespoke tea and coffee stations accessible on each floor, designed to create team building, or where staff can put their feet up on the ‘day bed’ and work from the lap top with a cup of coffee not too far away to grab.
Our staff recreation area:
We have created a bespoke staff sensory room with foilage walls and soft lighting that can be changed to whatever colour they wish to set the mood. We have installed swings in an open space to encourage creative thinking while enjoying the ride.
Our office spaces have the latest technology installed so our staff can choose to work from home or at the office and have virtual meetings from other sites.
We have created a recreational space and a training kitchen areas for our young people to access as part of the day resources and learning programmes.
The outdoor space has been designed to provide seating for all, with very pleasant planting and landscaped areas.
The office can be utilised into yoga or fitness classes, for meetings, for conference, though to evening events.
