You will need to be a Qualified Social Worker and be registered with Social Work England.

Experience

  • 5 yrs post qualified Social Work experience.
  • Experience in fostering services for a minimum of 2 yrs, including direct supervision of social workers.
  • Strong knowledge of fostering regulations, legislation, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Proven management skills, with experience in developing and motivating a team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • This is a hybrid working role which will comprise of working from our offices in Wolverhampton, attending visits and meetings across the region, and working from home. You will need to hold a full valid driving license and have access to your own vehicle.
