You will be working as a Support Worker in our 6 bedded Young Adults residential service for short term stays and respite breaks. You will be caring for Adults between the ages of 16 – 25. The service provides care and support for individuals who have severe learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries and complex health needs who require 24-hour specialist care and support.
You will be working Early shifts, late shifts, long days and the rota does include alternate weekends. You will assist the management team in maintaining a safe and enabling environment that provides positive experiences to the adults accessing the service.

- To ensure the delivery of appropriate care and support is given with sensitivity.
- To promote equality and diversity.
- To support and cooperate with the effective and efficient operation of the service.
- Ensure all health and educational needs of the adults are met.
- To encourage and develop the life skills necessary to support independence.
- To plan and undertake relevant leisure activities with adults.
- Undertake keyworker/co-keyworker responsibilities and duties where necessary.
- To adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, legislative and reporting requirements.
- To actively participate in continuing professional development.
