You will be working as a Team Leader in our 6 bedded Childrens residential service for short term stays and respite breaks. You will be caring for Children up to the age of 17 with moderate to severe learning difficulties, Autism, ADHD and associated behavioural challenges, Children accommodated at the home may also present with sensory impairment, physical disabilities and sexualised behaviours or equally, with complex health care needs, acquired brain injuries and complex health needs who require 24-hour specialist care and support.

You will support the management team to maintain a safe and enabling environment that provides positive experiences to the children who are accessing the service. Your role will be to encourage them to develop new skills and to be the best that they can be, whilst also providing the highest quality of care and support to our people. You will have strong values, have a passion to care, be resilient, self motivated, compassionate, have a fantastic work ethic and be able to work on your own initiative and lead a team, whilst following the support and care plans provided for the people we support.

As a Team Leader, you will assist the management team in maintaining a safe and enabling environment that provides positive experiences to children and young people. This is a hands’ on, shift based role. You will be leading the shift and supervising staff whilst still providing direct support to the young people in your care.

This is a full time, shift based role working 40 hrs per week and will include working at weekends and doing aprox 1 Sleep in shift per week.
