Qualifications

GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English and Maths

Experience

Administrative experience
Proven track record of managing high-volume workloads and meeting deadlines
Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information
Background in customer service or public-facing roles is beneficial
Knowledge of local authority processes and structures is advantageous

Skills/Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication and English language skills
Strong active listening skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and Word)
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisation, time and priority management skills, completing work in required timescales
Capability to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
Knowledge of children’s social care
Sound knowledge of the general data protection regulations
